The reason for the coating is to protect the rim when using it as a tire iron, which I never do. I use plastic ones instead, and just use the 3Wrencho as a 15mm nut wrench.

Got one of their headlamps, it's held up well for a couple years.

Ralpha are having a sale, although this might be more interesting/relevant to the spandex-loving crowd.

Yes, good call- never heard of them. Stuff looks decent, but a part of me can't help but feel it sort of looks like a pale imitation of Rapha. Now don't get me wrong - I'm not typically one to believe the hype, but I have to grudgingly admit that Rapha are pretty good at shilling product

from what ive heard rapha is worth it, im looking for a wool jersey for winter commuting so im not gonna wear my $200 jersey and wash it every day for 4 months out of the year

i wish ralph made more exciting designs, if im gonna spend that much id rather it not look less exciting than my middle range pearl izumi stuff

yeah I'd totally go for a Rapha brevet jersey but ~$200, forget it. I could get half a Kilo for that much.

Couple years ago the Torm stuff looked and felt exactly the same. Rapha started sending cease & desist letters, Torm changed the pocket design a little and apparently that was enough to settle it.

All the Rapha stuff looks like I should be riding my bike to church. I like a little pizazz in a kit. I just can't get excited about spending $150 on a blue jersey.

I like Raphas look of the jerseys but no way in hell I'm going to spend that much money when I can just wait and get Castelli for 25 bucks a bib/jersey.

I'm debating, just worried how it'd look with a few of my kits. lol. Yes, I'm a dork.

I technically still have a year (at least) on both of my helmets. So I feel like I should wait for the perfect option.
