So the seller pulled the ad based on being sold one way or the other?

Mea Culpa
Seller was, let's say, a bit quirky in our text exchange, responding "I will not enter any codes" to my request to buy the bike. I texted in reply "I don't know what "I won't enter any codes" means. May I please purchase the Stumpy you've posted on CL?" And then the seller sent me the address and wrote "Can meet anytime". I replied that I was in Wilmington and couldn't get there tonight because of work. Then the seller wrote I was second in line, that anything can happen, and they'd let me know tomorrow at noon.
So it goes.
(It's as well as that Stumpy looks pristine and I like to ride bikes. I also like turtles. I can't have nice things.)

I humbly sit corrected. You are right sir, a slingshot stem. My bad. I haven't seen an early Stumpy with that black one either. Seller only posted the one photo.

I have 3 now, 2 are later 85-86's so they are unicrown forks, and don't really do it for me but one is in excellent condition the other was a really good deal so there it is.
The third is a frame only like the one you found, biplane fork, rough shape but my size and it will get a full enhanced period build when I figure out the paint/finish for it.
Here's the most recent which was a really good deal but is pretty rough around the edges and its a Sport as is the nice one, not as desirable but still cool.
Mostly original, no bullmoose or slingshot but original wheels in good shape with a Deerhead FD which is good. It also came with some Tomaselli grips that will be usable for display.
Then we have this, 1982 Jim Merz MTB, one of 10 made according to Jim and maybe half a dozen prototypes after he got to Specialized where he had a lot to do with Stumpy's and plenty else.
I added the bullmoose bars and Mafac tandem canti's, it came with Magura motorcycle levers, Jim drilled the DA crank for a triple and made custom 9/16 pedal adapters.
Swapped out the skinny mismatched wheels and Bullseye hubs it came with for UKAI wheels.

If you haven't seen it yet, scammers will ask you to "prove you are who you say you are" on your advertisement. Usually goes to the tune of, "I'm going to have CL send a text to you with a code to prove who you are, so I know you're not a scammer". Then they'll submit for 'lost password' and 'receive code by text'. If you fall for this and give them the code CL sends to your device and/or email, they'll login to your account and hijack it.
I first hear about this back in 2017. A friend posted a "lost dog" ad after July 4th. Someone contacted them with "I found your dog, but I need to know you're actually the owner". She was desperate to get the dog and followed their instructions. They received the text, gave them the code, then spent the next several days trying to regain access to their account again.
PS - I never linked my phone to my CL account and won't. Likewise, I never use my ph# on CL ads. Better to remain anonymous-ish by using their remailer service.

Yes, I have nothing better to do this Saturday night than look at Craigslist ads and wish that certain bikes were my size. Darnit!! It does seems like it's a good time of year to buy a bike, even in my market.

Sutton was branded by the Royce Union bike company which , I believe , was HQ in NYC or NJ. Lower end stuff. This was probably late 670's to maybe 1972 or so, made in Japan.

Batavus Pro, Campy SR minus the RD and one shift lever. Obvious drive side dropout repair, with welder sadly. But if you could score for $150, it's worth the sum of its and then some but you'll need to be in/near NJ.
