Can anyone eyeball the size of this Bianchi?
It's either a 53cm or 55cm. The seller said she's 5'8" but it's got that short upright stem so it wouldn't at all shock me if it was a 55cm.

Impossible to say, but looks to be a comfortable fitting ride for her. If you dojt need to raise the seat up much higher than that, I think you will be happy with this bike.

No one can distinguish between a 53 and a 55 from a photo.

Being a steel frame and looking at the head tube, I'd guess a 53, but I wouldn't bet any money on it.

From the center of the cranks to the top of the seat tube is about the size of my thumb a quarter of an inch from my monitor which is a 27 inch display. So if we do the math we are looking at about a size that is somewhere on their geometry chart. 
It is a backwards bike too so not a great sign. But you know showing the most boring side of two sides is a good sales tactic. It keeps you even further guessing.

I've done some additional sleuthing on bikeindex
You can see the size differences by looking at the spacing between the top tube and down tube where they meet at the head tube
This one is marked as a 51cm
This is marked as 53cm
Also marked as 53cm
Now compare to this one
They just got back to me with some measurements...
Standover Height: 30.5" or 77.47cm
Top Tube Length: 22" or 55.88cm
Seat Tube Length: 21.75" or 55.245cm
So it seems like it's a 55cm. Which is interesting because it has a shorter standover height than my 54cm Trek

I think the seller just isn't a big bike person to be honest, so I'm guessing she didn't know to take a photo crank side. She said if she doesn't sell it she was going to lend it to one of her friends who is "a bike nerd".

I doubt she is that exceptionally big, the bike doesn't look that big. I would go check it out if the price is right and not too far.

My 2005 Bianchi has a sticker with the size on the back of the seat tube near the top under the seat stays. One appears to be visible in the first pic.

My gut tells me 55, but that is a lot of seatpost for someone 5'-8" unless they have really long legs.
