I ordered an ec90 seat on ebay, its a s works power seat copy. $21.00 shipped. After I purchased it the recieve by dates changed. 4 days later the earliest possible date was dropped. Now 35 days after the purchase date.
I sent the seller a message asking "are you walking it here"? His response was not encouraging so I canceled that sale.Turns out it hadn't really shipped yet. I don't do moving carrots. I ordered a different one, saved $1.50 and had it in 5 days.

A month or two ago we got a Yeti insulated coffee mug commemorating our office move. I have a pin set, decanter set, a clock, china, commemorative plate, license plate trim, functioning train cars and locomotives, mugs, a paperweight and even coasters. I should have a stoop sale.

You think that's nice, check this: We are having a departmental Zoon happy hour next Wednesday. Also invited are two former employees who are now consultants and a few other individuals outside our department who we work with often. Each participant has given four bottles of Domaine Carneros by Tattinger. Estate Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, a brut bubbly and a brut rose bubbly. It's going to be a very happy happy hour.

At the start of the fight over us that started between NS and CSX in 1996 out stock was trading in the low 60s. They finally reached an agreement to split most of us between them and bought all the outstanding shares for $115 cash. That included all the ESOP shares, both held by participants and unallocated. The plan was set up so that your cash contributions were matched in company stock. The long and short of it is that a lot of employees' retirement accounts got huge boosts in value. Imagine amassing tens of thousands of shares valued at $62/share that were suddenly bought at $115/share. I was a newbie so I only had amassed around 100 shares. But the proceeds from the sale of the unallocated shares were distributed to current employees in the form of IRA deposits.

I hopped into a customer's Camaro one time and when I slid the seat back it ruptured a can of Fix-a-Flat which was under the seat and that crap sprayed all over my legs, the carpet, and even the instrument cluster. One of our lot porters had a big job on his hands cleaning it up.
