All I want for Christmas is __________
If Santa could bring you 3 cycling/fitness-related presents, what would they be?

I'll start with ...
-- treadmill (for cross-training)
-- rowing machine (for cross-training)
-- cycling shorts that fit and are comfortable over long distances. Mine are all too big and baggy now.

I'll play.
I want a road bike (have Giant Escape now.)
That won't happen since I'm currently homeless (staying somewhere, but it's not my home) and it will be a few years of saving to get a place myself...
So, since I am still only 2nd year into this and don't have everything I need yet...
1. Bike pump. I have my mini Road Morph which works very well, but it isn't for regular checking and inflating the tires before riding.
2. New seat. I have the stock seat and I'm limited to about 2 hours until it's painful and 3 hours until it's unbearable and I'm done. Getting divorced, next summer I'll have a lot more time to ride with a group of coworkers who do a lot of 50-60 mile rides on weekends. I couldn't stand to be on the saddle that long with the current seat.
3. Bilge pump. Oh wait, that's for the kayak. It's more important over bike stuff after being slammed up against a log in the river with 200 lb. of water filling my boat while I climbed out and lay on the log holding onto my plastic tub for 20 minutes waiting for the next group to swing around the bend to help me out.
4. Would be clothing. I know I'm getting a bunch though. I don't do jerseys, just loose fit wicking t-shirts. I have 1 pair of bike shorts that I'd like to try a different brand, but that would be for me to choose and get rather than for Christmas.

Much of my want list has to do with mountain biking this year because I have road biking equipment pretty nailed. Unless I decided a lighter carbon bike was needed, I'm pretty happy with my current bike and setup. But, I guess I wouldn't mind paying for a quality fitting this year. I just don't think I have the bike setup dialed exactly right and can't put my finger on why. Also:
- Garmin 1000 Explore....the incident detection/notification would be awesome when out on solo bike rides. The larger screen would be great too plus my current garmin's screen just broke.
- I really want either a 27.5 wheeled Trek Remedy 9 or a Trek Stache. Something to really play around on would be fun and having a second mountain bike is never a bad thing.
- I need a new helmet.

1) I want a much younger, healthier body with pain free joints and a better metabolism.
2) I'd like to live in a much nicer neighborhood where theft and crime weren't so prevalent and there were plenty of great places to ride safely and away from cars with great weather all year long - i.e. NO WINTER.
3) Lots and lots of extra cash to cover my hobbies and indulgences, such as cycling.

Three pairs of shorts I love because I still haven't found fully satisfactory replacements for my favorites from 1997. All are missing leg grippers, all are going transparent, one has a hole, one now has a chamois hole...
That's probably unrealistic, so I'd happily settle for three warm base layers which fit because I've lived in California long enough I consider 35 degrees frigid.

I teach at an international preschool/kindergarten so I had already made a list.
Some long sleeve jerseys will be here before christmas, but I would really like a new set of wheels (the wife definitely won't go for that though).
