I remember someone here posting a link to a site that sold these and maybe super powerful flashlights. Just a small plexi tube I believe with a sealed screw on top with a ring for a lanyard. Any help is appreciated.

I can't help with that. I will say that we found the gatorade single size packets nice when we could find them. I will also say that when there were three of us the big tubs of gatorade were a convenient size. No big deal to stop and measure a scoop into a bottle.

Well I'm not a tourer myself just a long haul roadie so I want something to go in a jersey pocket. Just thought this forum would be a better place to ask.

Try looking here https://www.bepreparedtosurvive.com/Misc.Conatiners.htm scroll down towards the bottom of the page and you will find some vials / containers that may fit your needs.

In that case... Have you tried the little packets? Just enough for a bottle and easy to carry in a jersey pocket. It costs a little more that way but not that bad. Otherwise there are lots of little vials in the camping section at REI if you have one near you.

If you have a good sized REI nearby, you might check them out (or buy online). They carry a very nice selection of various sized bottles.

Something like this, or there similar 8oz size. Nice shape for a jersey pocket, and soft plastic.

Hammer Gel has a nice sized flask, and holsters for them.

Those NUUN tabs seem really good, are the tubes comfy in a jersey? Or do you just carry a couple tabs in a ziplock?

I just put the powder in a smaller size water bottles with a pull up spout and throw it in the third bottle cage or in one of the bags. Dump into water bottles as needed.

Not suggesting you buy a case of these but you can usually find singles at local supplement stores--I know that Vitamin Shoppes carry them. They are REALLY heavy plastic and quite waterproof. I think they hold about 3 or 4 ounces IIRC.

zzOtherlandzz ..... Wonders where the drug dealers get the little zip lock bags.... LOL Actually I have seen the little zip lock (not the brand ziplock) bags at the flea market before. They came in like a little bundle of 50 of them. The guy had a few different sizes.

I measure a bottles worth into a snack size ziplock. Make 3 or 4 depending on ride length, and then put them all inside a regular size sandwich ziplock (had a single back come open on a sweaty ride... not pretty). Takes up little room, hard to break, fairly easy to pour or rip a corner off.
