Haha...we met in that very bike shop. I walked in with my S2 as she was buying hers. I took her out the next day on her very first road ride.
Hers is a 51, mine is a 54.
Technically I could fit myself on her bike. I would have to ditch her -6/90 for a -6/120 stem and slam it.

Very, very important question here...silver spokes or black spokes?
Building new wheels, generic 38mm carbon clinchers with black hubs, to be mounted on Parlee Z5 SLi done in all black, with a few odd D-A silver bits like chain and cassette and crank.
edit....after going back and looking at every picture in this thread, the decision is...black...(what a surprise)!
I'll add a couple of pictures while I'm at it, prior to getting the new wheels:
...and the black one she replaced:

Or casting them while sitting in one. As far is anyone knows it's generic carbon (nothing wrong with that) with unbranded wheels (also nothing wrong with that) with Sram Force and possibly not even all black as it looks. At the same rate it could be branded all over and we just can't see. It does look like a really nice bike, but it would be nice to see how nice.
It's just a little difficult to grade a bike you can't see. In this thread, the picture quality counts as much if not more than the bike. While it's a cool picture and a sweet shot artistically, it's not very usable on this thread. Not hating, just trying to envoke a better picture for gc's spank bank. (Trying to hook a brotha up GC3)

Here's a less dark photo, haha. It was a cool bike; I'm no longer the owner. It just wasn't what I was after.
Strange that it's randomly relevant again.

Got out of work early and was looking forward to trying out the new wheelset. Unfortunately for me, it didn't happen because my campy-compatible Recon cassette wouldn't fit on 3T's "multi-sys" freehub. Apparently, the construction of Recon's 11 speed cassette is the reason why it won't fit. The additional guides inside the Recon cassette hits against the shim/sram splines on 3T's freehub body.

Thanks. These were actually New "demo wheels" that were never used; the retail version has only grey stripes. When I saw them, I already knew these were for the Merak.
A little elbow grease + goo-gone and I was able to remove the "demo wheel" decals that were located between the green stripe and 3T logos.
