You looking at me? Greetings from Fall City, Wah

You might think a town with the name Fall City, might be a dangerous place to ride, or at least suffer from a lot of road rash, but it’s actually a quirky tiny town, not a city, east of Seattle with access to lots of countryside riding and tons of single track. I’m a resident of said misnamed place and enjoy rolling down my driveway to hit the tarmac through farmlands and forested hills. I have been a recreational roadie since 87 and enjoyed endurance classics like Seattle to Portland in one day, and RAMROD. Five years ago heavily got into single track mtn biking and really dug the challenge and skill building, besides not being afraid of fast cornering through gravel. With the arrival of the Black Death, and not wanting to end up in an ER by flying off a trail, I returned to something far more lethal, road riding. I would rather get taken out all at once rather than in pieces. To celebrate my return to the roads, I retired my 35 YO Fondriest steelie, and got a new Bianchi Infinito endurance ride. Have been busy adjusting the fit in the last couple of months while putting 500 miles on it. Now that I have a new wheel set for it and have it 95% dialed in someone flipped the light switch from summer to fall with lots o rain. Now I’m back on the trainer until the skies clear.

happy to be part of this great community.
