Langley BC

Hello
I'm Greg and I'm in Langley, BC, Canada.

I grew up riding a gold Schwinn Stingray which I converted to BMX and rode hard enough to eventually snap the downtube on a jump.

At 16 in 1982 I paid $289US for a Sekai 2000. I still have it...it's the only bike I've owned for the last 36 years.

Today I bought another Sekai, from 1979, in Seattle. Not sure what model...I started another thread looking for help identifying the model as the downtube decal is gone. I'll post a picture in that other thread when I have enough posts.

Thanks for having me.

Hi and welcome!
Sounds like you'll enjoy the Classic and Vintage forum.
Looking forward to pics.
BTW, did you ever run into Svein Tuft on the Langley streets?

Thanks! Haven't run into Svein...though there are certainly a lot of cyclists around, pelotons galore in the summer.
