Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

Nukeproof Digger 2019

Anyone see the new Digger? Comes with the new WTB Sendero 650x47 which is basically a bigger Resolute. Also has 15x100 axle in the front so you can use the more common MTB wheels. The 2018 model sold out super quick on chain reaction as they were selling these for less than $1500 for the Apex 1 model. Also has threaded BB as well.

Can take some pretty big tires too with lot of choices.
700c x 45C
27.5 x 2.3"
29 x 2.1"

Interesting bike for sure.

do many here use a dropper post for a gravel road bike?

Don't think anyone uses a dropper. On the nukeproof literature it said that the design of this bike wasn't really meant to be a gravel bike but a bike that their MTB customers would want. Although the new Cannondale Topstone also comes with a dropper too.

I'm shopping for a new bike for my son. I think I'll see if there is a dealer in town so I can take a look.

Thanks for the heads up on the Digger Pro and Comp.

He mostly rides my old Yeti SB5, so this might be a good choice for him.

I would like a dropper post for going down hills in turns.

If you are in the US you are not going to find a nukeproof dealer. Best bet will be ordering from chainreaction.
