Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

You should take a look @ lizardskin's DSP color offerings; toward the mundane colors.

The stuff sucks. Seriously. The worst tape I've ever used. If you're looking for a tape that helps w/ road vibration this is not the way to look.

I recently threw this on a bike:

Cinelli's Caliedo tape.

About 10 years ago, Cinelli had two-tone tape. Ours was black tape with a strip of silver reflective.
Also came in couple other colors than black with silver reflective.
Think it was called Cinelli Lux (?).

Nope, I'm diggin that look myself! I dunno about cotton tape though, maybe with gel pads under it but I don't know how well that would work. I need vibration dampening! Maybe I can put salsa woodchipper bars on my SS mountain bike and do this...Its only ridden on the canal path!

Check out SRAM Make the Leap bar tape. I have used it on a few bikes and I really like it. It is available in red with white letters, white with red letters, and black with white letters.

Don't use Lizzard Skin, it's some of the worse tape I've used. I last about 3 months and that was twice. Live and learn.

Time to bring back the Benotto cello tape. Sexy like a red mini-dress. You wear gloves, right?

Does it feel tacky? I recall fizik feeling more slick...leaning towards lizard skins 1.8 but I hear mixed reviews about longevity...also of anyone wants to give away a 2012 sram red black crankset in 172.5, let me know *crosses fingers *
