Flight Deck help

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Flight Deck help

My problem with flight deck is that I will occasionally bump the left buttom when I am on the hoods climbing or starting from a stoplight which stops the stopwatch and distance feature. When I look down again (sometimes miles later) it still isn't working so I don't get an accurate ride time or distance....very frustrating! Does this happen to anyone else? Any fixes (other than scrapping it)?

I had the same problem. I now set my Flight Deck to display the cadence and speed. This way the left button will not stop the mileage or stop watch accidently. When I need to know how far I have gone, or how long, I just change modes, read the current miles, and time, then go back to the cadence/speed mode.

Your lucky, mine used to stop and start for no reason at all...until I returned it and got an Astrale 8.

As with one of the other respondants, I default my setting to cadence/speed, so no worries here. I didn't do it for that reason... just thought those two real-time pieces of data were most useful to me.

If you can find the right size "O" ring it just fits around the button and makes it harder to accidentally push it. You need to push down more in the middle of the "O" ring to make it work.
