New Old Stock ‘81 Le Tour gravel

Picked up this ‘81 new old stock LeTour frame and fork for $240 shipped. The seller didn’t have the original fork but included a period correct all chrome. Plan for this build is to go 1x7 or 1x9 with a bar con using a Super Maxy alloy crank with 40T chain ring. This LeTour has a long wheelbase, even longer than a ‘78 LeTour Appears my 700x40 Maxxis Rambler will fit comfortably and either a sun tour accushuft detailer if I go 7 speed or a indexed bar con if staying with a cassette set up.

That's pretty sweet. Seems like the perfect foundation for a nice grinder!

Perfect bike for the build. Even has downtube cable stops ready to go.
