Rossin FS

This 57cm Rossin is for sale on my local CL; https://vancouver.craigslist.org/van...291940867.html
Right now $380 CAD works out to $300 USD. Not sure if it's worth it based on paint condition and components.

Lol but the seller says "Price Firm"
Reason I ask is because due ruote mentioned Rossin in the Flashy Italian thread.
Maybe I should move this to appraisals?

The Rossin has seen a lot of use and, perhaps, abuse based on the banged up paint/art. That said, Vancouver is a strong market and Spring has just about sprung. In my opinion, assuming that there is no structural damage (dents and or crash damage), the asking price seems not out of line. If you intend to go for the purchase, ask that the original components (handlebar and brake levers, be included. If they are not available, that might leave a bit of an opportunity to a wee bit of haggling.

My guess is that it will not last long in the Vancouver market. Were I there and in the market, I would be seriously interested.

I think that’s fairly priced and would take a look if it was near me.

Sad how living in Canada sort of makes me feel like this deal is too far away from me when it's actually 5000 km away. Maybe next time!

^^^^Agee with SL, yes it needs work and some component changes but as long as no damage frame IMO is worth the price of admission.
Best, Ben

Thanks all,
I'm not specifically interested in this one but I've emailed the seller asking about original parts/components. Depending on his response I may go for it.

Seller confirmed there's no additional original parts; bike is 'as-is'

For a frame set with with very aggressive race geometry and short wheelbase which mean it was ounce a very nice starter level real race bike the current setup just makes me sad. As for value I would say $150 as presented with the frame set being worth $200 or so without the junk currently attached to it.
