Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

What if your bike doesn't have a "size"?

2004 LeMond Tourmalet 57cm frame, stock except for pedals....I have no idea what it weighs, nor does it really matter to me.

1997 Raleigh M50 mtn bike....all stock and I have no idea what that weighs either. I do know that it is a tank but fun to ride.

I appreciate that you are really good at making things up, but you're really bad at providing any kind of support for your climbs. A good number of people on this site know you probably don't have either bike, and even if you did I would doubt the weights listed.

My scale's in the mail, probably get it friday. I'm gonna take a stab and say my 58cm Fuji Team SL comes in at ~16 lbs with pedals and cages. I put heavy tools in my saddle bag for training rides so it's a good 5lbs on its own. Anyone else weight their bikes down for climbing training? Too bad mercury's bad for you or i'd fill my waterbottles with it.

I have one that weighs 26 1/2 lbs. I took the platform pedals off of it to ride it tomorrow and replaced them with the only spare pedals I had - Look Keo. The bike weighed only 26 lbs. after I did that. I had no idea 25 year old platform pedals weighed that much. Weight weenies beware! I'm coming after you.

Madone SL 5.2, Size 52.

With two water bottle cages, Road morph pump, triple-ultegra, computer, bar-end mirror, Jandd saddle bag with two tubes, tool kit, spare change (maybe a clif bar): 22.46 pounds. Oh, yeah, steerer/stem extender.

My lugged steel pinarello weighs 23.8 pounds and is a 61cm c-c and it has a steel fork too. It has nothing really light-weight worth listing.

EDIT: I just worked out that I weigh 198-199 pounds. Also a lot of people here have bikes that weigh in around 7.25kg.
