Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Excellent lines. Great looking bike. the bottle cages keep it from being an absolute HOT for me though. Get some new ones and you'll be there.

I also can't figure out if I think it'll look even better with silver wheels or not. Trying to picture it. I suppose they have to match the crank though, so, I guess black is good...............for now......

Looks pretty sweet, gc3 - what is it?

Edit: nevermind, found it. The OPEN U.P., if anyone else was curious.

So I stripped and polished the frame. Maybe not hot, but hotter?

Neither is "hot", but I like the paint-less version better.

That's ironic. I normally a big fan of Giants, but this one... I want to like it, but it just repels me. I wish it was more black, so I wouldn't notice it at all. I do really like the photo, though - beautiful lighting.

I want to hate the white saddle and tape but I can't bring myself to do that. I don't know why because usually that is my biggest gripe. Even the cages look good on there. Hot.

Yep. Gerard Vroomen cofounded Cervélo and Andy Kessler was CEO of BMC. Pretty sure this will be a niche company if it survives.

As a guy who has been riding nothing but a cross / gravel / adventure rig since getting it, smoking hot ! Good call on the cages because I have yet to find a cage that actually holds a bottle in the rough gravel that I have ridden in. Also the Giro VR90's are awesome, love those damn shoes. Not 100% color match on my stigmata but close enough.
