Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? Looking for fixie riders for 2014 STP in one day

I want to do this, but not by myself. I ride 50-100 miles per week commuting 9 months out of the year. I'll need to do some longer training rides, but think it's totally do-able.

Anyways, just looking for somebody to train with a few times, and to ride with to Portland. I live in Kent, WA.

Like the kids say, "Holla at me".

Yeah, I'll likely be on my Leader(If I don't buy another bike by then).

I just read that you need to average a 17.5 MPH pace to finish one day which seems quite easy considering how flat it is. I'm mostly in it for the experience and to hear overweight guys talk about how light their carbon bikes are.

its a "pretty easy" ride. just alot of saddle time.

the pacelines are so long, u can draft most of the day if you time it right.
