Racing tips

Hi all!

After years of getting into cycling, then getting my fitness back, I had a baby in January and haven't touched the bike since, haha.

I have decided screw it, I'm just going to sign up for a race finally and see how it goes! Anyone have tips? I know the start of the race is super strong then it tends to mellow out.

I have a Trek Crockett 7 on some 32c Challenge Grifo Race for the cross setup I never use. Otherwise I used the bike with my gravel wheelset.

First race is DCCX September 9th so I have about 2 months to get my **** together.

Wish me luck!
