It's Time! The Annual Mileage (and/or Pissing Contest) Thread
Maybe a little early, but let the insanity begin.
A few ground rules. Simple. Only "real road" miles count. Zwift/trainer miles should not be included. Honor system, of course. Pease try to post in miles, this is a USA-centric site, but if you feel you MUST, you may use Km...or start a "Kilometerage" thread.
I have 5613 miles on my Strava. There were a couple rides that were not recorded, each was about 50. So I will round it off to 5700 miles.
5700.

Jeez, @datlas. Do you really belong on bikeforums with numbers like that?
Here are my numbers.
Obviously far more serious than you.

I'm in the 5800 mile range between my road and CX bike. If it must all be on pavement, subtract 150 miles.

I don't do any tracking, but based on how many miles I usually do a week I'd guesstimate around 5500 miles by the end of the year.

Well, still a few days to go. But I did hit my goal this year of 7650 miles a couple of weeks ago. Lots of snow though has messed up the past couple of weeks. I'll post final numbers in a couple of days.

Finally got a bike in April after a hiatus of more than a year, but did not start riding in earnest until May. So far I have climbed 290,879 ft. Miles are just the boring parts between climbs. If you ain't climbing, you are not riding.

just over 5,000 miles. a big cycling wipeout/accident at the end of october and a lingering back issue for nearly all of december contributed to missing out on my annual goal of 6,000. gearing up to start stronger in the spring than I usually do.

I mix between running, riding and being lazy. I did put 600 exactly on my caad 12 since I got it August 18 though

The year is not over yet! I think I've got at least a couple more hundred miles left in my legs, since I'm off work this week, before the rain arrives!
This is what moving to a new city, getting a new job, and overcoming depression looks like:
Pretty weak mileage total, but I can feel 2017 coming in with a roar!

5,157.5 miles so far.
I had been playing Strava mileage leapfrog with an avid local track cyclist, until a week ago when he tore the PCL in his knee in a skiing accident.
So I will be winning the mileage contest, but not the way I had hoped.

Strava says 2,014. Last year I had around 500 so I'm quite pleased with how I did.

3,418 miles.
And that's with missing a couple months off the bike due to a bike accident.

Excellent point. It really makes absolutely no difference it is still the same distance--besides a little math is good for exercising "those little gray cells" as some one famous and fictitious said!

I don't know. Less than normal. I finished last year getting hit by a car and was off the bike for months.
Lots of vert, though.
