Hey, It's My Latest Bike
Haven't posted a bike build in awhile...
Fastrax frame - rebadged Salsa Primero. True Temper S3 steel. DA 8 speed group with Ultegra compact crank. My old Mike Garcia custom wheels.
18.4 pounds as pictured.
May not be the prettiest or most technologically advanced rig in the pack but it is a super ride....
Special shout out to Bob Dopolina for his help with this.

Nice bike. I like how the wheels and tape tie in. Very cool.

So I tried the Nashbar model and liked it. I've been riding it ever since. The GR2 is the newer version but its very similar to the older model.

5 years ago, I acquired an Arione and fell in love with it. But, I'm a believer that all my bikes need to have the same saddle and switching them over was to say the least, expensive.

I'll probably order it within the next couple of weeks then. Maybe sooner.
And hey, it's only $35!

Looks like a clean build.
However, my eyes keep going to the total absence of steering tube. It just looks unusual for such a compact frame with conventional looking tubes to have zero steering tube. I'm sure it's just me.

Frame is a 60 and I could have gone with the 58 but I like the big headtube - 195 mm vs. 178 mm. Allows me to use a 5 mm spacer as opposed to 22 mm.

What's the seatpost?
And does the weave in the fork have a kind of spiral?
Nice business-like bike...

That built up really nicely.
The wheel choice works well with the frame. I think a deeper rim would be out of proportion.
BTW, what's wrong with your garage door? It looks a little...green?

I don't mean the arione is better, it just feels different to me is all. It does look like an arione though. At any rate, nice bike and ride whatever saddle is more comfortabe.
