Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

That doesn't happen to you at the top of every mountain?

I've seen that before. I think it's hi-larious.

I've seen stuff like this before and thought, oh no, not another one of these, but by the end I had a big smile on my face. Well done!

Thanks for posting. There were a few other funny ones linked there, too, like the Mario Kart one.

I thought every climb ended like that. Oh wait, nevermind I forgot. Lack of oxygen just makes me think it does. That video even made my girlfriend crack up and she totally believes that bikers have no sense of humor.

I think it would be funny. Ha, ha. OK, you've had your fun. No, really, can we just be done. Geez, I get that it's all staged. And then I'd start to get irritated.

you know how customs workers are at airports--bored, dont give a rats ass about you etc?

Many years ago when I arrived at the Toulouse airport to do a month long bike trip in the Pyrenees with a German friend, which involved doing a number of Tour Cols, it was so, so cool how after asking me where I was going in bored tones at first, the two Customs guys started getting all interested and asking me detailed questions about my gearing and debating amongst each other what would be suitable for all the weight I had on my bike......

only in France. Yet another reason why I love the French.
