Goal for July: 700 miles
7/01 - 41
7/02 - 62
MTD 103 miles
YTD - north of 3500 (best estimate)
Didn't beat the heat, humidity, nor the rain, but nice ride nonetheless. Going to Sarasota tomorrow and will bring the bike (if possible) to ride Longboat Key Anna Marie Island. Done it a few times when we were last down there - it's a leisurely 40 mile ride there and back.....

Lucky you! I'm just a tad younger and also retired from full time work. Stress is fixing a flat these days, LOL!

61 here, retiring in February. I'll have a birthday between now and then, retiring at 62. Can't wait! I feel like I'm about 45 or younger, except for the occasional bad day when I feel like I'm 107.

Installed a freshly waxed chain and some new GP5000TL in 32mm. I’d been running them in 28mm but my neck has been sore since I installed them, so going back to 32mm. All ready to go ride with nowhere to go.
I’ll find...something.

I know what you mean, I feel great, but my knees are crap. Good thing I ride a bike! I assume that I will be looking at knee replacements in a couple of years.

130 during my Wednesday to Friday tour. About 110 were fully loaded. Had a wee bit of rain in camp Wednesday afternoon. Glad this wasn’t my campsite.

Sarasota to Anna Marie Island and back. The ride from our hotel was a bit longer than I did last time we were here. Beautiful, but intense sun with a Gulf Breeze. My two water bottles were not enough to keep me hydrated. Oh, and I forgot my helmet and biking shorts....

July Goal 225
7-1 12.0
7-3 21.0
Total 33.0
Had a great ride today with my wife went to ohiopyle and rode 10.5 miles to Confluence. Had lunch at the Rivers Edge than rode back to Ohiopyle for a total of 21 miles. For those that don't know the area that is the best part of the Great Allegheny Passage. It was the longest ride for the both of us since her surgery. I'm so proud of her.

Adding pedal extenders to my bikes have helped my knees a lot . I was getting worried there for awhile . My knees were hurting after every ride . Now they feel tired but not achey like before .
Looks like I’m the old man of this group .
I’m just happy to be able to still ride .
