Wife bought me the wrong Garmin Varia
Busy as heck since Christmas and finally today looked at the Garmin Varia my wife got me. Turns out it is meant for an e-bike, which I don't have. Initially, it looks like the only difference is the plug coming out of the unit that is supposed to be plugged into the e-bike power supply so battery life on the Varia isn't a concern. I'm thinking I'll just use it or put it on my wife's e-bike. Anyone Varia users have additional insight or advice?

Have you called Garmin or the vendor it was purchased from to see what they'd do for an exchange?
Even if it wasn't purchased directly from the Garmin website, I'd call Garmin support and see if they are feeling in a good mood that day. They might exchange it for just shipping.
