What low-riders are disc-compatible?
I've seen Axiom sells a set of low-riders that are kind of funny-shaped and they say are disc-compatible, which leads me to speculate at least some of the others are not.
Can you please recommend ones you have used successfully with disc brake calipers?

Not a clear cut answer I reckon. Frame specific. Also how work arounds are possible, with spacers etc, like what I did for my touring bike, rack and front fender.

Have you tried looking for specific images of this bike loaded up? When I was trying to figure out how to set up my troll, it was good to see a bunch of photos of actual touring setups, so I went with what had worked for others.
even with that, a very smart mechanic helped me out with workarounds, maybe I would have figured it out on my own, but maybe not...
for sure his suggestions helped me look at problems with new eyes and helped me think of solutions for other stuff I doubt I would have had the insight except for his help.

Looks similar enough to a Disc Trucker fork, so anything that fits a 700c Disc Trucker...maybe?
(but the Surly has the low-rider bosses on both the inside and outside of the fork legs, so if yours doesn't have that you need to avoid the "hoopless" lowrider racks like Tubus Duo.)

re workarounds, or the spirit of.....
this sort of thing is often needed to clear this and that, and I have used spacers just like this for decades and with reasonable loading, keeping track of bolt tightness (also using thick anti seize grease or loctite to stop loosening) things have been fine for me with lots of rough road riding (albeit with wide tires at reasonable pressures)

I bought a replacement fork for my old MIELE UNO SL that I use for light touring. That replacement fork has a brazed-on mount for a low-rider rack. BUT! My Blackburn low-rider rack does NOT line up with that braze-on mount and thus I have to use the U-clamp from the rack hardware to mount that rack. Because of that, I recommend that you take the bike to a shop when you're shopping for a rack and make sure the rack will fit there.
Cheers

My Tubus Duo racks work fine with disc brakes. Granted you must have a fork that works with the rack like my old Disc Trucker fork or my current Co-Motion fork (which I may have gotten custom not sure).
It was a bit of faff to install but they are great racks and as someone who didn't want anything connecting the racks this one was the way to go.
