Struggling with Specialized Bar Ends/Grips Availability
Specialized used to sell Body Geometry Targa Bar Ends/Grips.
They came on bikes through model year 2017, meaning there are plenty of bikes for sale in bike shops right now today with these bar ends/grips. Here they are in blue:
The bar ends came in black, blue, red, or white (always black on bikes from the factory). I have never, ever been able to find black ones. I did find blue, white, and red today at an LBS, so I grabbed the white ones, which aren't really ideal either. The LBS did not have the grips. The grips are made special for the bar ends, in that they sort of extend over the bar end for a nice, clean complete look.
I asked the LBS if they could just order stock replacement parts for the bar ends and grips (ironically they had a 2017 Sirrus Elite hanging directly overhead with the exact setup I was after), and they said they could not?(!) How can they not order stock replacement parts from Specialized? If someone dumps their bike the bar end will be the first thing to get trashed.
Basically I just want the stock Targa bar ends in black, with the correct, overlapping Body Geometry grips, but this seems impossible to track down anywhere. I'll probably just end up returning the white bar ends and forgetting about it.

I think the parts on these are commodities that are swapped in and out as the assembler deems necessary. I will say that I recently owned a 2018 Giant ARX for a short while and it was supposed to come with an 11-34 8-speed cassette, but the one I bought had an 11-32 8-speed cassette. It's apparently all they had access to on the specific day my ARX was built. Many websites have a caveat that reads that detailed specifications can change at any time, etc. My local bike shop couldn't come up with a part number for the bottom bracket setup on my daughter's 2012 Specialized Hotrock. I wanted that exact setup as a spare (it was a three-piece bottom bracket that had cups that used the same 30-pin socket that cartridge bottom brackets use), but they couldn't locate a part number.

Emailed Specialized rider care on Sunday, didn't hear anything, sent them another email Thursday, still nothing...
I ended up returning the white bar ends.

I think I have a pair in black that came with the Sirrus. I removed them because don't like the look.
I have no use for them so you can have them if you want.
I'll post a pic once I got time.

I kept them on the bike for awhile but I wasn't using them so I took them off. There's a minor scuff on one as you can see from the pics

How much do you want for them including shipping to zip code 55124 in the US? Can be a slow shipping method, that's fine with me. I could paypal you?

Targa Bar Ends/Grips
I have the same issue as the one posted here & need to replace both the grips & bar ends for my specialized sirrus comp hybrid bike. Does anyone have these that I can purchase? Appreciate your response.

While not identical, Ergon makes grips/bar ends which are very similar: Produkte · Ergon Bike
