Rim Replacement
I have an older front wheel from a 1991-ish road bike that has a Shimano 105 hub laced into a rim that has no branding and no information visible. I can measure the width pretty easily, but finding the ERD of the rim is where I'm getting stuck. Every guide I can find for measuring ERD assumes I am starting with an empty rim, but in my case, I am not.
I would like to replace this rim because the brake track is worn, but I do not want to have to re-lace the hub from scratch. I've done this operation of moving one spoke at a time into a new rim before, but in those cases, I new exactly what rim I had and I was using an exact ERD replacement. It was actually really easy to just line up the two rims side-by-side, and migrate the hub & spokes over.
How can I measure the ERD of this rim, without un-lacing the hub? Or should I just bite the bullet and un-lace it, order a new rim, and use a spoke calculator to select some new spokes, too?

I'm assuming the spokes are going on 30 years old? What kind of life have they led?

Price out the cost of rim plus spokes. A complete new wheel might not cost any more. Check the hub carefully, after all it is 29 years old and could be showing signs of wear
