Regarding the '76 Raleigh International, full Campy, Weinmann centerpulls:
It is difficult to find an original, good condition Raleigh International. I know, I watch e-bay.
I paid $1200. for my '74 champagne, then added another $200. with new decals and misc. repair parts.
I am not complaining. It is a fantastic bike- with all Nuovo Record, Weinmann brakes are fine.
It is on a par with Italian bikes costing twice this amount.
$900. is a very reasonable price for an excellent condition Int'l. Even with $150. shipping on top of that.
They are not making them any more and the value is holding.
Just my opinion.

That Trek 710 must have spent a lot of it's time in a VERY hilly area. Look at that gearing!!? The crank really works on that bike though, bigtime!,,,,BD

I think craigslist should begin a one month ban for ANYONE found using keywords in their ads. I just searched Trek, and over half of the ads were not for a Trek. Frustrating at the very least.,,,,BD

Still learning
But then how would sell the Viscounts, Shoguns, Takaras, Zerbrakenkos, etc? Thank goodness the DKOs selling Nexts, Pacifics, and Huffys have yet to figure it out!!

[h=2]1973 SCHWINN PARAMOUNT CHROME - $500 (Worcester)[/h]
Chrome paramount touring bike. Won't find one cheaper.
Cleaned, tuned, ready to ride.
New cables, tubes, chain, handlebar tape
Good looking bike, bad spot of chrome on the left side of the top tube.
Can throw in a pfletcher rack and a beautiful set of polished fenders for my asking price.

!!! The Boston market must have been just flooded with quality bikes in the 70s-90's. I'm astounded at the deals Rocket Sauce consistently posts. Deals worth jumping on show up here (DC/MD) maybe once a month tops. They seem to happen almost daily in Boston.

I had an auction pulled from ebay for using Ultegra as a keyword. I was selling a pair NOS in the box 600 EX brakes and used a title like "NOS 600 EX brakes Not Ultegra" which was true but ebay pulled my auction for a keyword.

^Technically speaking, isn't 600 Ultegra? If you rely on EBay goons to not know that, of course you'll not be able to capture customers eager to find good vintage goodies.

Lovely bike. Mid/late 70s prob even 1980ish.
"Priced to sell!" would be more like $350. $750 is a "priced to show off my collection", lofty West Village premium. That's just my opinion, if I had a spare $700 lying around I'd probably go after it - coz I'm very easily taken advantage of when it comes to Made In England, black enameled 2030 tubing & a sturmey 3 speed.
