[h=2]********Vintage racing bike******** - $125 https://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/bik/4043999946.html[/h]Centurion Super Le Mans with a Brook B-17 and Suntour barcons; I think these have a Suntour drivetrain and Dia Compe brakes. Even has a nice pump. I would pick this up if I were closer; it'll be gone by the weekend when I could make it up there.

Austro Daimler - 55 cm - $325 (Denver)

All original Austro Daimler from around 1987. Shimano 600 components.
Campagnolo twin bolt seat post included. Exceptionally nice condition.
For sale at $325.00 cash. No trades. **
LINK**

Looks more like late 70's with upgraded drivetrain. As always, not my size.

^Sorry, don't see the point of this bike being so stinkin' complicated. Seems to me that bike should follow the KISS principle for the most part....

It was likely the height of technology for its day. From the ebay listing

"" The Meca Dural aluminium frames were made between the 1930s and 1950s, constructed from Alumag (a brand of aluminum-magnesium alloy) tubing held in place in the lugs by internal expanders. Duralumin is twice the strength of aluminium, despite being light in weight, and was originally designed for use in Zeppelin airships and early aircraft.
The Mecadural frames were mass produced and filled a gap in the market for those who couldn’t afford Caminargents, Barras and other handmade aluminium frames. Meca Dural manufactured its frame not only under their own marque but for other bicycle companies as well. I have found it badged under nine names so far: ""

Before dependable welding and heat treating procedures for aluminium were perfected, many funky techniques were used.

Pretty effing cool. I'd love to take on a project like this, if if were my size, even though some of the proper parts would be pretty pricey....

Likely close to a Miyata 610. Might be able to get it for $200, a steal in SF. A step up from the Miyata 210 in some ways: fork mounts, maybe tapered rear stays.

Vintage Deluxe Touring 10 speed bicycle in the mixte frame. Type II decals and placement indicate this is probably a 1974 model. This bike is in like new condition and the tires look like it was never used. 20 inch frame with quick release axles. Front mounted Soubitez 89 6 volt, 3 watt generator. 52-40 chain wheels. 14,17,20,24,28 freewheels. 27 x 1 ¼ tires and tubes with schraeder valves. Mafac Racing brakes.
This is a rare example of a highly desirable touring bike in pristine condition.

  • Looks nice to me.

Here's a lot of vintage goodness, hidden for quite a while:

https://spokane.craigslist.org/bik/4049055152.html

[h=2]Vintage Road Bikes (Spokane Valley)[/h]

I have three vintage road bikes in great condition.
The first is a White motobecane from the 80's that has been fully restored, the frame was powder coated, new brake pads, bar tape, chian, all bearings cleaned and regreased etc. Asking 300 OBO
The next bike is a vintage Raleigh Super Grand Prix fixed gear made in England, and the bike has a new paint job, bar tape, and the chain and bearings have been cleaned and greased. 275 OBO
The last bike is a Schwinn Traveler from the early 80's, it has been tuned up and is ready to ride. Can also put on some new bar tape for 15$ more if you so desire. 125 OBO

I also do bike tune ups, so feel free to contact me if you're bike needs a tune up. My rates are reasonable.

injured. broke. i can't buy this, but someone should.

https://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/bik/4049042271.html1998 lugged steel Bianchi frame with chrome stays. 56cm. The frame is sound, but has some scuffs and smudges from lots of happy riding. The left chain stay says, "construita nel reparto corse" or "built by the racing department." Tubing is Dedacciai Zero Tre. Has front derailleur braze-on. Includes chromoly fork, headset, Bianchi stem, Selcof seat post, Spectra bottle cage, newer Shimano bottom bracket and Shimano Sora crank (double). Ready for your custom build!

Sometimes I think people put ads up just to troll us vintage enthusiasts. These went up last night - same seller. I emailed almost immediately and have not heard a peep. Probably long gone.
