My mom let my cousin (under 30) have her wedding in my mom's back yard, took care of all the landscaping and probably 80% of the decorating, as well as dinner the night before. No thank-you card sent.
My (soon-to-be ex) sister-in-law (under 30 at the time) had no problem letting my mom pay for 100% of her and my brother's destination wedding. No thank you card sent.

Riding early today, in order to catch a ride to the city with the Mrs.
And in other news, I'm doing the Bates Method, and a few other things, in an attempt to get rid of my eye glasses. As of yesterday afternoon, I could (mostly) function on the laptop without them. My eyes are naked now as well. Good light is key.

I checked at bikehubstore and whatnot, but I'd rather just have the wheel rebuilt at this point; paying 7 bucks shipping for a $2 spoke seems silly when I can ship the wheel to Reynolds and they'll replace all of them for free.
edited to add: oh, maybe I didn't mention that previously - this would all be under their lifetime warranty.

Too hot to sail this weekend. Boats have actually signed up for races on the Ches. and will bob around under a postponement flag waiting for breeze, which may not arrive and will be 5 kts gusting to geese farts if it does.
This time of year is why I have a bike and an alarm clock!

Sweet, Amazon is my streaming service at the moment. Been thinking of killing it and going back to Netflix for a year, gonna have to get on the Trapped train first. Just finished Justified, been looking for another show.

Wow that was hot. Sunny and humid, temp by the end was 90 but “real feel” was around 100. I don’t mind the heat too much, but one of the A riders (a former MLB pitcher with much better quality mitochondria than most of us mortals) overheated and had to limp home.
