Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

hi, currently I have a 100mm stem 6+- degre, I'M looking for a 110mm 0 degre or 100mm negative, so do I need something like 10 degre +- ??

and do you have an internet website where I can find that??

about ritchey, their stem is 73 or 84 degre, can I have a negative stem with that??

yes. the "flip it" that you often hear in this place is referring to the flipping of the stem (making it going negative)

73 is actually +/- 17 degree stem. as most headtubes make a 73 degree angle with the horizontal, a -17 degree from horizontal makes your stem parallel to the ground.

84 is actually +/- 6 degrees, which is what you have.

a zero degree stem is not gonna get you a stem parallel to the ground.

as for websites, here you go https://www.habcycles.com/fitting.html

If you're looking for the stem to be parallel with the ground (0 or 180 degrees) get a +- 73 degree stem which is also the same as a +- 17 degree stem.

there are + 30 (so conversely, -30) degree stems. but i don't think that's what you want. the ritchey stems are great, and i like my -17 wcs. but make sure you do enough planks and stretching that you can actually be in a low position
