Any Centurian/Ironman Fans?
Here is one on our area's CL this morning. Too bad I'm not in the market at the present time...
https://nmi.craigslist.org/bik/2556612634.html
Still trying to figure out how he needed to get a new wheel (a wobble ) and "never been in an accident".

that poor bike! it looks almost new? I don't recall that model having safety levers, or french brakes. could be a nice project though

I've always loved Centurions, but those Miami Vice color schemes killed me back then, and continue to vibrate my brain muscles today. I know some people dig them, but I always thought the colors were pretty tasteless... even when I was still walking around with my knit ties, t-shirt and blazer combo, and McGyver haircut.

Those safety levers caught my attention right off the bat too. No way those came on that bike originally!

I was just in Marquette for a great wedding with a ton of cash on me. I wish I knew about this, would've taken a detour for it. I'm roughly 6 hours away from it, where I live now. Shucks

I agree with Robbie I would have grabbed it and made $150 by just changing the break levers. In today and gone tomorrow.

This one is still available. Just saw a relisting at the same price.
Last night when out for a walk I saw leaned up against a neighbors porch an Ironman (Dave Scott) that was higher level of bike....this one did not have turkey levers but did have an old schwinn saddle that looked like it was ginked off an old 24" cruiser in the 60's

Here is my 1988 Centurion Ironman Expert. You either love the 'Miami Vice' paint scheme or you hate it. I am in the love camp.

Welcome to the forum. You'll find more of those on the Centurion Serial No. thread.
Sante is a nice touch on that bike, 600 tricolor RD is solid on the back end. Nice colors.

rjhammett, where did you get the matching bar tape? The only yellow tape I have found doesn't match at all.

Can't help you out with the bar tape. It was on the bike when I bought it. I tried to see if I could figure out the brand but couldn't. I will let you know the brand if I see it at a bike shop. I stopped by my LBS on the way home from work. They had some Fizik brand tape that looked close but hard to tell without my bike being there.
