Medial Knee pain after new shoes

I recently switched shoes and since then I have had some medial knee pain or maybe discomfort is a better description. When I first switched I noticed the insides of both knees getting this warm feeling and maybe a little soreness when riding. After reading on the issue I moved the cleats toward the outside on my shoes. I use spd mtn bike shoes btw. Now it seems like it is mostly just my right leg, and less than it was originally. I only feel it when I am riding and don't really feel any soreness when off the bike. Any other suggestions of what I might want to try? I checked and my feet are pretty straight and I have enough float the heel is often out a little bit when riding.

Perhaps there's a difference in the thickness of the sole? (If the new shoe has a thicker sole, the saddle may now be a bit too low.) Or, perhaps a difference in the arch support (or lack thereof)? Are you using the same insoles?

I betcha it's anserine pes bursitis. I got it so bad on one ride that I had to pedal the rest of it with one leg. It's caused by tendons being too tight. I'd ignore the shoe issue. Whatever. It's probably that the new shoes changed your foot position slightly Doesn't matter. What matters is fixing it. Do these stretches 3 X day to start with, then once a day.

I developed this series to fix my bursitis and still do them every morning.
