Hey look, it's Sprinter Della Casa. (Guy with HED, beside yellow kit dude) He record his crit races and his videos are pretty exhilarating to watch.

During the Trek 100 in Wisconsin. Did it all on fixed. Actually, the only rider (out of a few hundred) who was fixed. Kinda neat.

My saddle height is not too bad really. With my crank fully extended down my leg is at a slight bend. The bike is a size too small for me which hurt my back a little though.
The Vans have a pretty decently stiff sole so it was not too bad. Plus, there was only 1,000 feet of climbing the whole time. I was going to switch out my pedals and go clipless but i got a tad to lazy and just rocked the Vans.
