2,400 square feet in Mt. Baker neighborhood of Seattle -- one bedroom, nice view of Lake Washington. Ground floor is a bike shop w/room to hang 18 (!) bikes.

Here's a Mt. Baker House For Two People and 18 Bicycles - Curbed Inside - Curbed Seattle

If you're renting, here's a new apartment with plenty of bike parking and an overall cycling theme, right by popular cycle path...

We did the "move to a smaller place since we don't have kids" thing back in 1984. Doctor's told us we wouldn't be having children, ever. Not going to go into the details here. We bought a small townhome and a smaller 2 seat sports car, well it worked wonders for the conception aspect of things, Elizabeth was on her way shortly there after. Went to a rental with 2 bedrooms on a small lot and here comes John. Now that they both are out on their own with jobs and all, I am not downsizing, the thought of raising another child is a bit much for this old guy.

Nice house in the article, I really like the unequal lengths wood siding they used.

Bill

Nice house! I live in a 480 ft2 one bedroom apartment, but then I only have 4 bikes. Poor me.
