It wasn't my first choice, but I was getting nowhere trying to find a suitable replacement fork for the Seven-Ten. I had also avoided riding it last year because the fork was bent above the crown. I debated picking up a near-mint 1987 Ironman Expert frame and transferring everything over, but then the top mount shifters would've had to go, and the yellow and purple frame just wasn't me. Another forum member suggested I try the Nashbar carbon threaded fork, so a 20% off sale and free shipping later, here we are.
It definitely stiffened up the ride, but admittedly I have not gone far yet. I do live in Buffalo, and it's freaking cold. I think it goes with the bike rather well, better than a chrome one would anyway, but I am glad to have it back on the road again.

either way i like it too. maybe just me but the addition of black annodized parts like a stem and seatpost would look great.

I was thinking that too, but I think I will start with getting the Miyata head tube decal put on each side of the fork, or even the Miyata decal on the chainstay, going up and down the fork...

IIWM, I'd spray the fork silver to match the headtube.
