More bike lanes in SJ!

My friend who lives in SJ and cycles a lot complained that some trails like Coyote Creek Trail and Guadalupe Trail are overrun by homeless people and are outright dangerous for cycling.

this is a good thing and they are looking at bascom ave also......which would be huge
Coyote creek trail when I rode it last fall had a ton of homeless, including an encampment right at Tully road in front of the SJPD Horse center.
I did not feel it was dangerous though. Daytime on a saturday there was enough traffic (runners, walkers and bikes) that I didn't feel at all isolated

My friend badly crashed while avoiding a homeless person who moved randomly along the trail. Luckily the friend did not break his bones, but his titanium frame cracked and was ruined.
