Feature request: 'Thumbs Up', 'Like', etc., button for Threads or Posts

Would like to have buttons on each post for 'Like', 'Don't Like', 'Laughing', etc., ala Facebook. Sometimes, I agree with a post (vs another post that states a different position), but don't want to make a cluttering post that says, "I agree. Posted from my Junkaphone Tapatalk 24.1.x"

One of the many reasons some folks avoid much social media. I'm happy this has not yet invaded BF.

I also second this request but nothing too crazy like the icons above. In my other forum it just has a like feature and thats it.

I can check to see if this is something we can do, but it might require a lot of work in VBulletin.

Thanks! Now that it's here, I saw a poster whose sig is, "Don't 'Like' my posts." Can't please everyone I guess. Are there any downsides? (e.g., extra email for someone who receives a 'Like',... or something else?)

This. BF is my refuge. All the other social media I have observed makes my head hurt.

I have posted to this thread, Liking posts:

I think if we're gonna have "Like" buttons, they should be balanced out with other less cheery options, such as "Resent", "Despise", "Loathe", "Sober Up", "Seek Help", "Get Bent", etc.
