B-17 Imperial Dimples?

I haven't seen any on mine after 1500 miles. I imagine i'm probably still a few thousand miles away.

How about you guys?

I'm thinking this is what you need:

Or are you trying to avoid dimples?

A bit OT, but while searching for images of brooks saddles with dimples I found this advert. https://www.campyonly.com/images/modb...bottom_800.jpg (NSFW)

I'll post a link because I'm not sure I should post the pic on the forum....

Is the saddle comfortable, or not? I have a relatively new B17 Standard that is very supple and has no dimples but feels like I'm sitting on nothing, no pressure, just pure comfort.

I can push in on the rear of the saddle and the leather "gives". With other B17s, I have found them to be too rigid to budge. So what I've learned is that they aren't all equal, either in initial stiffness or tension or both.

Mine was comfy right out of the box. On the other end of the spectrum is my vintage B15 circa 1974 that has dimples and is also perfectly comfortable.

You don't want dimples; that's just a short ride away from ass-hatchet shape.

If they had included one of those with my Brooks, I'd still be riding it.
