Yes, please…

While we are at it, how about a “Gatekeepers Only” forum…???… A lofty place we can aspire to be included… A place the elite can ride in on their high horses and can look down on us who are new here… You know us, those who are simply trying to figure out where and what to post in the appropriate place that’s appreciated, and not be mocked for it….

I'm amending my previous idea. I think a sub-forum for people that don't have a sense of humor would be more worthwhile.

@PaulJensen .... steel is real and indexed shifting is of the Devil .... no more need ye know ..... Oh, and never, never let the 'brift**" word appear ....

I think if there is enough discussion purely about CF ... then one could lobby for a CF forum. Right now I cannot see enough threads to fill such a forum.

I volunteer to moderate that forum.

Seriously…You could, you know, take a few minutes to peruse the site to see what forums already exist and what content they contain. Had you done so, you might have come to the conclusion that this suggestion of a thread would have probably been best posted in the Forum Suggestions & User Assistance forum. Just an idea and an opinion.

Thanks for the welcome… I see how raising a serious question goes here… Tell me to just go away and I will…

While we're at it - other sub-forums that should be considered:
  • Disc brakes
  • Tubeless tires
  • 1x drivetrains
discuss.

The new carbon fiber sub-forum should also have a sub-sub-forum for chain waxers.

So if I understand, there'd be this forum perhaps renamed, "General Cycling on Not CF", and another new one proposed which would be for "General Cycling on Carbon Fiber"?

Is this where topics go to die…???…

In my original post, I was asking a serious question that hopefully a moderator might have a serious answer to…
