Small grocery store in Prague. I did not plan to put groceries in my backpack, but fortunately I had the backpack on and had adequate room for the stuff I bought.

I understand charging for the premium seats, kinda sucks when it is that way for any seat.
we recently booked air transat tickets and saw the same thing, and came to the same conclusion that we'll just take what we get.

to me, its clearly just another way of the airlines trying to get a bit more money from each customer, and ultimately it is up to us to decide if we pay for a reserved seat or not. For me, its not worth the expense.
Guess it just comes down to profit margin and operating costs being looked at, to enable the stewerdesses etc to be paid much better---err, I mean, so that the top executives can get their usual x million bonuses because they have brought operating and employee costs down X dollars.....
yes, I know fuel costs are higher and higher, but yes, I am cynical.

My wife and I are concerned that we will not get seats together.. It is 30+ hours of flights with 4 legs and it would be nice to stay together during the flights. We are not so concerned with location but would like to stay together.. Hopefully since our tickets were bought together we stay together.

Tickets bought together are generally seated together. Contact the airline to confirm this.

Ah yeah, guess I remember those now, never did much "grocery" shopping in them when I lived there. Mostly just popped in for a beer on my walk home

That's what I'm hoping. If not, oh well, I mostly just sleep on planes anyhow.
