It Can Wait!
This post is not really meant as a rant. It does have an entirely different purpose. But I'll start with a mild rant simply for the fun of it.
I'm an AT&T DSL subscriber. I have been for about three years now. And I'm underwhelmed.
At most times the service can be called mediocre. At somewhat irregular, but moderately frequent, times the service descends into 'poor' territory for a couple of days. All that might have been acceptable if it weren't for the premium price.
So I'm not a big fan of AT&T. But I do feel a bit better about them for their having put together this PSA. It should be required viewing for everyone.
New AT&T "It Can Wait" ad on how distracted driving can cause car accidents (VIDEO).
And there's something kinda similar here:
Werner Herzog texting while driving documentary "From One Second to the Next" is worth watching. (VIDEO)
I could go on. But these little films speak for themselves. Watch out. It hurts somewhat.
But if it helps people to realize that they ought to just slow down the pace a bit, then it'll be a good thing.

They are ADDICTED. They can not help themselves. All we can really do is to limit our exposure to the drunk/high and/or distracted among us.

BUT NONE OF WHAT I HAVE BEEN THROUGH AS A RESULT OF MY DISABILITIES. EVEN COMES CLOSE TO WHAT A PERSON GOES THROUGH WHEN A FRIEND AND/OR FAMILY MEMBER DIES ON ACCOUNT OF SOMEONE IN ANOTHER VEHICLE PAYING MORE ATTENTION TO TEXTING. THAN THEY ARE TO THEIR DRIVING!!!

How can we avoid the drunk, high, or distracted, driver. They will always be out their. Our only option is, how we respond to them. In the moment.
