Putting back together an old Trek from a box of parts and I need some help.

I don't see how the front derailleur should attach. Here is a pic of the derailleur and the frame. I am familiar with this mounting style. It looks like maybe there should be a part on the back that bolts to this but if that is the case I don't have it in the parts box. Any help would be great.

The bracket gets trapped between the right BB cup and frame. It won't work with some one piece BB units whose right cups don't have flanges.

Ughh. The BB is already in there. I hope it comes out easily.
