Attn: CT MTB'ers: need some local trail knowledge

Living in Middletown, it's a little tough to find some good after-work rides less than half an hour away that I like (rush traffic's a *****). I hate Middlesex, I'm bored with Wadsworth and Cockaponset is a little long for an evening jaunt. I know of a couple other places that are simply too technical for a xc'er like me to really enjoy. I took a walk at Millers Pond in Durham the other day and it looks promising. So, does anybody know a good hour-long loop or out-and-back? The blue trail looks interesting, and the white trail has some pretty sick sections. I couldn't really find much on mtbr or bikerag except that people like to wheelie off the metal bridge thingy! Thanks in advance guys.

P.S. If there are any other nearby places I don't know about, please let me know

P.P.S. I would have posted this in the regional forum if there was one! *hint hint*

Been there. I don't know my way around there too well, and I would think that the trails are in pretty poor shape with all the rain we got here (the place has poor drainage and is over-ridden). Have you been there within the last few days? I guess I'll have to study a map or just suck it up and drive a little farther (sunset is around 8 right now, shouldn't be a big deal )

I was there like 2 weeks ago. You are right, they probably are really muddy.
