Any guesses out there in BF world?
The BB is unmarked. sfazio has a similar PX10 in the French Bike thread, so maybe he has info. I've seen both French and Swiss mentioned on the net.

Based on JDT's chart of Stronglight BBs, I'm leaning Swiss. I really do not want to tighten a Peugeot DS cup any bit beyond the existing - done by the Peugeot factory torque gorilla. Maybe I can suss the thread direction with a bore camera, I'll clean the BB and take a peak.

I'm thinking French, I think the Swiss bb were only on models other than px10 after '77 (but I'm not certain of that year)

1977 is almost definitely French-threaded
I was surprised that my 1980 PKN-10 was Swiss-threaded.

What made things confusing was, Peugeot used Swiss threaded (Most likely made by Stronglight for Peugeot.) BBs on their bikes that did not have any markings at all. Making it possible for owners trying to turn the fixed cup the wrong way when removing, which could mess up the threads on the BB and the BB shell on the frames.

I would take a closer look at your BB, I didn't think I had a serial number on mine either but another member found it for me. It's really faint but it's there.

If you find any Swiss threads pop them on this post, some do not obey the charts! Trying to get a photo parade to help when searching auction sites, and you get the, is it or isn’t it bid now hesitation! Lol.
