Kettle Moraine knowledge?
Hey all, I'm thinking it would be cool to drive up there and do some car/tent camping and riding. Do any of you have experience with this?
Is the State campground ok?
Any tails you like or dislike?
Do they frown heavily on red solo cups around the camp fire?
That's pretty much it, any help would be appreciated,
Thanks

I camped there once in the state campground and it was one of the nicest campgrounds I've ever been too. It's a beautiful area, and the Country Store at 12 and H in La Grange is highly recommended for their sandwiches and knowledge. It's a combination bike shop, ski shop, and deli located at the southern tip on the south unit of the Kettle Moriane. Expect to pay to park in the state park, a season pass used to be a good deal when I had one years ago.
