Two Shogun 400 series, 30+ years old. Like new
UPDATED POST: NEW PICS AND LOWER PRICE !
I have 2 Shogun series 400 road bikes for sale. Purchased by a relative 30+ years ago, Used a couple times and put into storage. Original everything, tires, grips, everything. Like new, but will need tires.
Blue bike is 23" and brown is 25"
Would take $500 for the pair
I am located in New Hampshire and am willing to meet in neighboring states or package the bikes for shipping.

Thats not rust, that's PATINA !. I could wash them down and show them all sparkly, but Im afraid some collector would get mad at me. There is not a single tool mark on any nut or bolt head I could find, cause nothing ever got adjusted. Grammy said her and gramps bought them new, went on a ride around the lake in the 1980's and realized they were too tall. Put them in temp controlled storage and never touched again. Here is a picture of the sprocket after a swipe with a paper towel. They are in "Used once condition".. Every single bolt, adjuster, lever & accessory on the bile is original. Cant get much close to "like new" than that after 30 years.

[QUOTE=SurferRosa;21651905]I think I would use a little different description.[/QUOTE)
Put away wet it appears.
Hey OP. Welcome to the forum. IMO, for $400 you might want to clean bikes within an inch of their lives. Patina (No yelling necessary) is fine, old grease ain't.
Good close up pics, description of all parts etc etc.
Good luck

Welcome to BF!
If you’re feeling unsure of valuation, I would do as clubman suggests and then head over to the “what’s it worth” forum (that closeup of the cleaned up crank was impressive - cleaning will certainly help salability). You’ll need a few more closeups of all the parts like the derailleurs and the hubs and any stickers/markings so people can get a full picture of what is on the bike. There are members who are active buyers/sellers and have a very good handle on what bikes are going for. Your location is also a determining factor. Sentimental value is excluded from the equation. This isn’t the appropriate place for such conversation, so I’ll leave it at that.
My grandparents had a pair of Schwinns they bought ~1975 and I’ve got one of them. It doesn’t fit, but I won’t let it go.
