750d gravel wheels

I can hardly wait: https://www.bikeradar.com/news/moots...d-gravel-bike/

The lovely thing about wheel standards is that we can have so many of them.

The best part about this idea, IMHO, is that you could rebuild the wheel with a standard rim in however many years it takes before you can't find a tire to fit.

UDH, "transmissions", now we're going back to wagon wheels and penny farthings. Gravel events that started to get away from UCI are becoming UCI... I want off this crazy ride!

In order to be good, 29er mountain bikes took on a lot more reach and stack. Gravel bikes being a varietal of road bike, I don’t see as much room for change. You need another 3/4 in of rear center and stack and the weight weenies will also love the extra ten linear inches of tire and rim per bike

I imagine this might also require larger brake rotors to slow down the larger wheel, possibly even leading to a change in disc brake mounting standards.
