Zipp Freehub Coast Noise
I've recently acquired a pair of Zipp 404 carbon clinchers, and absolutely love riding on them. However, the freehubs on them are crazy loud when coasting, at least relative to any wheels I've ridden on/next to before. Is this just the norm for these hubs to be cacophonous, or is it something that'll go away as I put more mileage on them? The noise itself doesn't bother me, just want to make sure I'm not missing something and destroying the hubs.

Well....if it sounds like a coffee grinder and it rides rough then I would stop riding them.
If you're just saying that they sound like a loud mechanism...then it sounds like you have no worries.

They certainly seem to ride fine, spin forever on the stand. I've just never heard anything make that much noise. DARN IT NOW I CAN'T BE STEALTHY ON DOWNHILLS!
