I thought this warranted it's own thread; I can tell you from first hand experience that the Fresh Frame paint jobs are the nicest I've seen and that you would be hard pressed to find a better tandem. Price seems reasonable for a keeper.

Bilenky Signature Road Tandem - $1100 (Exton, PA)
I have a beautiful fillet-brazed steel frame tandem for sale, hand-built by Bilenky Cycle Works in Philadelphia. Custom paint by Fresh Frames.
I found this to be a high-quality, comfortable and amazingly stable bike to ride. I owe this bike to my all-time top speed on a bicycle of just shy of 60 mph while descending a mountain road near Killington, VT. This bike has never been crashed.
Looking to get $1,100.
Specs:
Steel Frame -- Fillet Brazed
Frame Size:
- Captain: 21"center-to-center
- Stoker: 17" center-to-center
Wheels:
- Mavic T217 tandem wheels -- 48 spoke
- Hope Tandem Hubs -- wide flange
Gearing:
- Shimano Deore XT front deraillieur (triple)
- Shimano Deore XT rear deraillieur (8 speed)
- Shimano bar-end shifters
- Specialized cranksets
Brakes:
- DiaCompe brake levers
- Shimano Deore XT cantilever brakes (front and rear linked)
- Rear drum brake
Other components:
- Vetta saddles
- Ritchey headset ControlTech adjustable stoker stem
- Continental tires

Beautiful! That's a kid size stoker.
What do you think it would cost to ship a tandem? $200-$300? I'd love to take this frame and hang my Campy parts on it.

At that price it is worth shipping! I sold my Bilenky for more than twice that!

I'm not sure - but I think doing it by Greyhound would come in at a reasonable number. I discussed shipping a tandem with Auchen once...if memory serves, Greyhound was under $200.
