Stupid things I've seen drivers do in 2018

A couple of things I've see this year. A 20 something guy driving while his left foot was out the drivers side window and touching the mirror.
Followed a driver for about a mile while his passenger side door was wide open.
Anyone else seen unusually bizarre or dangerous drivers?

"Stupid things I've seen drivers do" would be the title of a long book. A very long book.

There are thousands of unbelievably tremendous drivers around here. They are greatest drivers in the world. It's unbelievable how many great drivers we have.

Driving in the wrong side of the road , overtaking in tight places , overtaking without calculating the distance from the cyclist....
There are a LOT!... sometimes i really think to use a camera to record those idiots and to send the video to the local police , very often driver make me feel very uncomfortable while riding.
Road is for everyone.

I found the drivers very respectful when I was in Italy riding around near Lake Como... Oh! That explains it. You are from the south!

I find that stupidity knows no bounds, but that, because examples stand out in our mind, we tend to believe it more common than it really is. That one idiot who drives straight through an intersection in the turn lane will be remembered, while the 100s of competent drivers we pass every day don't even register. Overall, I've had very positive experiences sharing the road and very few incidents of intentional acts or stupidity that resulted in any real risk.

Please do not generalize to the stereotype, here not all drivers are monkeys but asother places there is a percentage.
To be honest i find out more aggressive driver on Rome than in the south itself , they seems to hate cyclist because we are slow compared to a car but as i said road are for everyone so they need only a bit of patience.

I did thousands of miles in and around Napoli when I lived there in early 1980s and never felt uncomfortable with the other vehicles that I shared the roads with. Of course that was before cell phones.

Go around a little traffic circle the wrong way, in a residential neighborhood with a 25 mph speed limit, to get ahead of me and fail to do so, resulting in a near collision.

You mean, besides hitting me and breaking my shoulder?

Or nearly clobbering me more times than I care to remember?

And that's just this year.

If you don't mean those, I got nuthin.
